Byers Woods is an 200+ acre county park located in Ashland, Ohio. It is rich with wildlife, trails, beautiful scenery, fishing ponds and a sheep farm. A day in late summer a group of artist gathered together for a plein air (open air) paint out to capture the beauty of the park. I found this serene location, planted myself in the grass and enjoyed the fishing of some local children. Nothing better than combining the outdoors with painting. This is when magic happens.
