On July 14, 2017 I sat in the parking lot and painted this view of the Rocky Point Winery in Marblehead, Ohio. People thought I was a parking attendant and kept asking me if they needed to pay to park there, lol. Then they realized I was a painter and put their wallets back in their pockets. I should have put out a tip jar. It was a lovely morning and I really enjoyed how nicely this painting came together. After I finished the painting, I sampled some of their wines. What a lovely start to a terrific painting weekend at Marblehead and Lakeside Ohio.
